Add Hyperlinks to Entities

Available in: Pro, Architectural

To add a hyperlink to an entity simply select the entity you want to add the link to and then press the middle mouse button (wheel).

A dialog box appears and you can use this to set the link.

The link can be a internet address or it can be a file on your PC/Network. Use the 'Browse' button to locate the file or type in the internet URL.

You can edit the hyperlink using this method. If a selected entity has a hyperlink it can also be edited via the Properties Explorer.

Because these hyperlinks are stored as  a invisible parameter of an entity you can use the Select Hyperlink command to highlight all of the entities on a drawing with hyperlinks. This makes it easy to identify and then edit a specific link.
