If the Copy or Cut command have been used to place a selection set on the clipboard, then the Paste command can be used to insert the contents of the clipboard into the current drawing.
When used the clipboard contents are attached to the cursor and can be placed on the drawing using any of the snaps and input options. Only Draft it entities and text from other applications may be pasted. If text is pasted into the drawing from another application, Draft it places this text in a new text string using the current text properties.
If the clipboard contains an image from another application then the Insert Image command automatically takes control of the paste operation. If the clipboard contains cells from a spreadsheet then Draft it asks if the text should be pasted as a Table. Answer "Yes" to place on the drawing as a Table or "No" to place as plain Text.
