Modifying/Moving a Roof

Available in: Architectural Only

As the Roof function creates a plan view of the roof lines as individual lines a roof can only be modified as a series of individual lines not as one object. Therefore when a roof line is selected its entity handles are displayed. Once you have selected the line the editing choices are to either Delete it, modify the properties using the Properties Explorer or the Ribbon, or to move one of the entity handles.

The reason a roof is created as individual lines is so that the roof function can support teeing one roof into another.
