Edit Overhang

Available in: Architectural

Use this command to alter the overhang of a roof in your drawing.

Select the Edit Overhang button Overhang and the following dialog box appears.

Edit overhang

Here you can either enter a specific overhang value or choose to give that value as part of the command.

When you click on the OK button the way that you edit the overhang will depend on your 'Apply To' choice as you will see in the descriptions below.

Whole Roof:
All you need to do is to hover the mouse over the roof that you would like to apply the overhang to and confirm your selection by clicking on the left mouse button. The thickness will then be set using your specification.
If you have selected 'Input On Drawing' then you can set a new distance using the cursor for the overhang by moving closer or further away from the current overhang position before confirming your selection.
