This command
is used to Copy the entities in the current selection set on the drawing and place them on the Windows clipboard.
These entities can then be pasted into another drawing using the
Paste command.
It is important to note the differences between this command and the Copy command in the Draw Group on the Draw Ribbon Page.
1) This copy command uses the Windows clipboard, entities copied are available to Paste into other drawings.
2) You cannot select an insertion reference point with this command, Draft it picks the point.
If you want to copy items on a drawing into another application you must use the 2nd Copy command on the Modify Ribbon.
