Tangent to Two Arcs

Available in: Pro and Architectural

This command draws a construction line tangentially between two arcs.

Select the Tangent to Arc button button and the command prompt reads:

Give first Arc/Circle at approximate Tangent point:

Click anywhere on an existing arc or circle and the command prompt reads:

Give second Arc/Circle at approximate Tangent point:

Move the mouse cursor anywhere on another existing arc or circle. You will see a dynamic line drawn between the two arcs at the selected tangent points if possible as you move the cursor. Simply select the position required either by clicking the mouse button. The line three times the width of the current page is drawn on a layer called 'Constructions' which is set to 'blue' by default.
