Revision Cloud

Available in: Pro and Architectural

Use this command to draw a Revision Cloud through series of points. The resulting curve is stored on the drawing as a single entity and is in fact a Polyline.

Select the 'Revision Cloud' button Revision Cloud button and command the prompt reads:

Give Start Point:

Select the first point of the Revision Cloud using any of the snaps and input options. A dynamic line will be drawn from this point to the cursor. The prompt now reads:

Give Next Point:

When a second point is selected a line is drawn from the first point to this point and a the dynamic line is drawn from the second point to the cursor. Draft it now displays a small red circle at the first point to help identify where start point of the revision cloud. The prompt now reads:

Give Next Point:

As the third point is indicated line is drawn from the second point to this point and a the dynamic line is drawn from the third point to the cursor.

An extra option is added to the command prompt, '(C)lose'  to close the Revision Cloud. The prompt now reads:

Give Next Point or (C)lose:

Further points can now be selected to continue to add line segments to the Revision Cloud.

Pressing the escape keykey will cancel the command.

To finish drawing the Revision Cloud Simply hit the c key key to close the shape back to the start point. Draft it now displays a small red circle mid-way between the 1st and 2nd points of the revision cloud. As you move the cursor around you will see the cloud flip, inside and outside this circle, this is basically setting the bulge factor. Click to accept the required position.
